What if we built sustainable business practices?

We’re building a new way to learn, share, and grow together.

Imagine a space where knowledge flows naturally between communities, like nutrients shared through forest root systems. Where creators support each other's growth rather than competing for attention in a biased and crowded algorithm. Where learning happens through genuine interaction rather than passive consumption.

This is what The Portal Collective has created - a place where tools that allow true knowledge sharing are fused with authentic community. A space where you can start small and grow naturally, supported by others who share your values. Where you don't need thousands of followers to make an impact - you just need something meaningful to share.
Our interactive tools make it easy to create engaging learning experiences that keep your community connected and growing together. No more cobbling together different platforms or fighting with complex technology. Just simple, powerful tools wrapped in a supportive ecosystem.

This isn't one more app crowding your phone screen, it’s not one more subscription to forget you’re paying for each month. The Portal is an infrastructure built on sustainable business practices - creating a different way of learning, sharing, and growing together. It's a space where knowledge flows freely, wisdom is collectively cultivated, and everyone's voice can be heard.

Come and be a part of it.

The Portal Collective emerged from a recognition that we're facing interconnected crises that require interconnected solutions.

I started out in corporate e-learning - using interactive learning technologies that transformed how people absorbed and retained knowledge. But, during the pandemic I saw brilliant people with important wisdom struggling on platforms that forced them to compete in an endless cycle of content creation. I experienced the limitations firsthand when sitting alone with PDFs and unwatched videos - there was no genuine connection or emergent learning.

There were no sustainable business practices.
When my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer and passed away within six months, I found myself navigating grief while pregnant with my second child. These profound transitions shifted my perspective on what matters - revealing the urgency of building different systems now.

Diving into the field of permaculture I began to see the fundamental disconnection in how we share wisdom online.

In nature, ecosystems thrive through mycelium networks - underground webs of connection where trees and plants share nutrients and information. Yet in our digital spaces, we've built silos and competitive hierarchies that isolate knowledge and reward extraction over regeneration.

I began to imagine a digital space that functioned more like a forest ecosystem than a marketplace. A place where, like in permaculture, each element supports others' growth rather than extracting from it. Where wisdom could flow freely between communities, and where success wasn't measured in follower counts but in meaningful connection.

The women's gathering I attended during this time crystallised this vision. Sitting around a fire, watching natural knowledge sharing - one teaching basket weaving, another singing to trees, another making fire - I witnessed the power of emergent, non-hierarchical learning. This is what digital spaces could be.

The Portal isn't another platform - it's infrastructure for a different way of relating to knowledge and to each other. In the face of polycrisis, we need spaces where wisdom can flow unimpeded by algorithms designed for profit rather than flourishing. We need digital ecosystems that mirror the collaborative intelligence of natural ones.

This is the deeper work of The Portal Collective - building the systems that allow us to learn, share, and grow together. Using sustainable business practices that regenerate rather than extract. To create not just better tools, but entirely different relationships to knowledge and community in the digital age.

The Seed

The Portal Collective began as a response to the limitations of existing learning platforms.

First Growth

We launched with the first creators, building a community centred around genuine connection.

Nurturing the Soil

Our community has grown to 666+ engaged learners and 19 aligned Creators with live offers.

New Horizons

Portal 2.0 launches with enhanced interactive learning tools.

62 and counting Creators have signed up to begin in June.

Meet our investors

We couldn't have got this far without the ongoing support of our incredible community. We're particularly humbled by investments from the beautiful folk below, helping us pay the huge development costs so far.

If you're interested in becoming a community investor yourself, get in touch.
Anna Wojciechowski
I am part of project "Zukunft am Haff", where we explore how to shape regenerative futures emerging from collaboration and co-creation.

My work focuses on building resilient, life-affirming structures. Rooted in rubble, I trust in what remains and what can be rebuilt. My story makes me a force for reimagining how we live, relate, and rebuild from what’s broken but not gone. My role is to help visions become practices that people can live, not just imagine. This is about building what holds us together when things fall apart.

Silvana Saveri
Sisa is an ISMETA-certified Somatic Movement Educator, a yoga teacher, and astrologist, offering support from a place of deep-rooted belief that we are already whole. She offers practices for finding more freedom and ease in our body-mind, without denying the reality of the systems with live in.

Sisa facilitates from the intersection of the political and the spiritual, recognising that while meaningful change begins within the individual, true social change is rooted and thrives in community.

How our values help us build sustainable business practices

Freedom of discovery & Experimentation

We create spaces for natural exploration and emergent learning, free from prescribed paths or algorithmic control.

Collective wisdom & Knowledge sharing

Knowledge should flow freely between communities, creating unexpected connections and deeper understanding.

Sustainable, ethical growth
We reject the hustle culture of endless production and embrace natural cycles of growth and sustainable business practices.

Authentic connection

We prioritise genuine relationships over transactional engagement, building communities that nurture rather than extract.

Build with us

The Portal is a different way of learning, sharing, and growing together.

It's a space where knowledge flows freely, wisdom is collectively cultivated, and everyone's voice can be heard.

Come and be a part of it.
